Welcome to the Lane!
As Hamilton Harbor narrows itself into the crook of the fishhook that is the island of Bermuda, the strip of water is known as “The Lane”. My house is up on a hill overlooking this body of water and from up here, far from the sounds of traffic, I spend my days looking out at the sailboats and gorgeous flowering trees, and feeling very, very lucky indeed.
